Sloper Volunteer Workday Group
The YMCA Camp Sloper Outdoor Center is fortunate to have a dedicated and committed group of volunteers who are continually improving our facility for the campers and members of our YMCA. Our group meets a couple of Saturdays each month from 8:00am until 12:00pm. Community Service
We have many opportunities and projects for teens and adults to complete community service hours for school, college, church or court appointed obligations. Committee Volunteer Work
Our YMCA is governed by a group of volunteers who serve on various committees. Leaders Club Program at the Y - Grades 7-12

Leaders Club is a dedicated group of teens focused on giving back to the community and developing leadership skills. During Leaders Club, teens will be learning what it takes to be a good leader; they will also learn how to create, plan, organize, lead and evaluate community service events. The Leaders Club program can be used for volunteer service hours for school, church and other requirements. Leaders Club meets on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm for Dodd students and at 7:30pm for High School students at the Cheshire YMCA. Teens can join at any time of the year! Internships
We have many opportunities for high school, college, and graduate school internships.  As the largest social service agencies in Southington & Cheshire, we can provide internship opportunities in the area of health and wellness, childcare, outdoor education and recreation, sports management, administration, fund development, accounting, human resources and more.  Please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. TOGETHERHOOD
