Naciwonki Summer Adventures

The Southington Community YMCA’s Naciwonki Summer Adventures program provides an alternative day camp experience to younger children that are more comfortable in a smaller environment. With our 50% indoor and 50% outdoor structure to the summer day, children will still participate in traditional day camp activities while having the availability to indoor relieve.

What will your child be doing?
All Adventurers will have scheduled activities for each day based upon our weekly themes. Children will have the opportunity to do messy hand projects, arts and crafts, team building activities and outdoor games. Each child will be getting newsletters periodically throughout the summer, along with take home projects and notices. Children will be swim tested at the start of each session. All children will be swimming Monday-Thursday with certified lifeguards and NSA staff. Swimming takes place in the pool located in the main building of the YMCA. There will be no swimming sessions 8.
