Apple Harvest Festival Road Races

New and Enhanced - Y CUP 1-Mile Run

Children in grades 1 through 5 may participate

Run anytime and anywhere between October 2nd and October 12th

Safe and 'social distancing' practice is mandatory

Adult supervision is recommended and highly encouraged

WHAT IS THE Y CUP 1-MILE RUN

A 1-mile run in conjunction with the Y's Apple Harvest Festival Road Races

The Y CUP is open to all elementary age children - no matter the town/city or state

Points and medals will be awarded to boys and girls in elementary age grade levels who finish in the top 3 of their respective grades.

The winning team in Southington will be awarded the prestigious Y CUP to keep in their school for a year.

Children run safely and practice social distancing with adult supervision between October 2nd and October 12th

 

REGISTRATION

Registration is open!!   Register now through October 12th 

Fill out the registration form below with parent/guardian signature and return to the Southington Community YMCA                                                      29 High Street, Southington, CT  06489 

Cost: $15 per person through October 12th 

Checks should be made out to the ‘Southington-Cheshire Community YMCA

All participants within the first 1,000 signed up for any of the Apple Harvest Festival Road Races will receive a t-shirt

All participants receive a bib and finisher's certificate

Results - Y CUP race results will be available Monday, Oct. 7, 2019 at www.sccymca.org/apple

In the Southington School district, the fastest 3 boys and girls finishers in each grade will be recognized at their schools 

Race Etiquette:  Runners must follow Road Race etiquette and respect others.  Safe running and 'social distancing' practices are mandatory.  Adult supervision is recommended and encouraged.
