Personal Training at the Southington YMCA is back!

After a five-year hiatus, we are happy to bring this program back exclusively to our main facility at 29 High Street.

Here are a few things to know:
  • Our sessions are 45 minutes long
  • We offer one-on-one personal training, no small groups
  • We only accept clients aged 18 or older
  • Our trainers are nationally accredited and carefully vetted to give you the best experience

How does it work?
  • Purchase One, Six, or Twelve 45-minute Personal Training Sessions online by clicking here.
  • First time clients will answer the screening questions prompted at the point of purchase.
  • A team member will reach out to go over your answers, discuss availability, and goals.
  • Based on that conversation, you will be assigned a trainer.  If you already have a particular trainer in mind, the trainer will soon reach out to coordinate appointments.
  • All appointments are booked online and can only be accomplished once you have purchased a training session.
  • The Personal Trainer will work with you to establish your goals and a plan to reach them.

Personal Training Schedules
  • Each Personal Training Session is 45 minutes long.
  • Sessions will start at their scheduled time and not extend past the end time in cases of tardiness.
  • The YMCA will make every effort to have trainers available seven days a week during regular business hours.  This is subject to change based on trainer availability.
  • We know that life is busy, and it can be difficult to make yourself a priority.  If none of our current trainers’ availability aligns with yours, we will extend the expiration date of your session(s) to accommodate your needs.
  • All expiration date changes are at the discretion of the Health & Wellness Program Director and are only extended in such circumstances.

Pricing Information
  • One 45-Minute Session $55

  • Twelve 45-Minute Sessions $650
