Here are a few things to know:

- We offer one-on-one personal training, no small groups
- We only accept clients aged 18 or older
- Our trainers are nationally accredited and carefully vetted to give you the best experience

Program Options
SINGLE SESSIONS
Single sessions are available exclusively to current or recently active clients. They are a convenient option for individuals who need program updates or occasional guidance but are unable to commit to a 6 or 12-session package.
FOR NEW CLIENTS
To ensure a meaningful and effective experience, first-time clients are required to purchase a minimum of three sessions. This allows adequate time for assessment, goal-setting, and personalized program development.
INTRODUCING THE “START ME UP” PROGRAM
Our Start Me Up program is designed for individuals who are already familiar with fitness and simply need expert direction. It’s the perfect way to refine your routine, gain clarity, and move forward with confidence.
YOUR SESSIONS
Your first session will be spent assessing your current fitness levels based on your goals. From there, your trainer will build a program designed specifically with you in mind.
- Each Personal Training Session is 45 minutes long.
- Sessions will start at their scheduled time and not extend past the end time in cases of tardiness.
- The YMCA will make every effort to have trainers available seven days a week during regular business hours. This is subject to change based on trainer availability.
- We know that life is busy, and it can be difficult to make yourself a priority. If none of our current trainers’ availability aligns with yours, we will extend the expiration date of your session(s) to accommodate your needs.
- All expiration date changes are at the discretion of the Health & Wellness Program Director and are only extended in such circumstances.
- Start Me Up Package: $175
- One 45-Minute Session (Existing Clients Only): $58
- Six 45-Minute Sessions $341
- Twelve 45-Minute Sessions $682

The Southington Community YMCA is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all our staff and members. To ensure safety and comfort for all, we ask members to always act appropriately during training. Any inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the program, as well as the surrender of unused sessions.
YMCA Guidelines
All members are expected to be caring, honest, respectful, and responsible while at the YMCA. All personal items must be stored in the locker room. Locks are recommended. The YMCA is not responsible for the loss or damage of any personal items.
Proper athletic attire and proper footwear are required.
