Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification Spring/Summer 2026
This blended learning course is designed to prepare the participant with the knowledge and skills to be a lifeguard. This comprehensive course offers up to date information on how to guard through prevention and action steps. Blended learning sessions will require all online sessions to be completed prior to attending the in-person classes as noted below. Also included are CPR and First Aid certifications as well as blended learning and online access to course materials. Participants must pass a swim test in order to register for this class. In-person registration only. The price of this class does not include a $15 pocket mask (Adult and Infant Masks are required), which can be purchased at the membership services desk by the 1st day of class.
Required Swim Test Information:
The swim test must be completed prior to registration. A birth certificate and Photo ID Are required to take the swim test (A passport is valid for both or a current driver’s license/ permit)

Participants must be 15 years of age to participate in this class - (age 15 by first day of class)
Required Equipment to be brought to every class:
- Hip Pack
- Whistle on a Lanyard
- Adult & Infant Pocket Masks (Can be purchased at the front desk)
- Swimsuit
- Multiple towels/Sweatshirt strongly recommended
- Water bottle & snack
Attendance at every class is mandatory - no exceptions
